Saudi Arabia: New Technical Regulation for front, rear and side barriers for trucks and trailers

 

Saudi Arabia has published a New Technical Regulation for front, rear and side barriers for trucks and trailers.

The regulation specifies the following: terms and definitions, scope, objectives, supplier obligations, labeling requirements, conformity assessment procedures, responsibilities of regulatory authorities.

It is applicable to vehicles of categories N2, N3, O2 and O3.

The proposed date of entry into force is 14 September 2022.
