Chine : De nouvelles normes pour les dispositifs d'éclairage pour motos

 

China has published three new GB standards for lighting devices for motorcycles:

• National Standard of the P.R.C., Provisions for the installation of lighting and light-signalling devices for motorcycles and mopeds – GB 18100—XXXX
• National Standard of the P.R.C., Road illumination devices for motorcycles and mopeds – GB XXXX—XXXX (replacing GB 19152-2016，GB 5948-1998)
• National Standard of the P.R.C., Light-signalling devices for motorcycles and mopeds – GB 17510—20XX

The first one specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, special requirements, and inspection rules etc. for installation of lighting and light-signalling devices for motorcycles and mopeds.  For products newly applied for type approval, it will be implemented from the implementation date of this document. For products that have obtained the type approval, the implementation will start from the 13th month from the implementation date of this document.

The second one specifies the terms and definitions, classes and different types, technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules, etc. for road illumination devices for motorcycles and mopeds.  From the date of implementation of this document, symmetrical passing beam and driving beam functions newly applied for type approval shall comply with this document. For the new application type approval of asymmetrical passing beam, the implementation will start from the 19th month after the implementation date of this document.  The implementation will start from the 37th month from the implementation date of this document for road illumination devices that have passed type inspections, vehicle models that newly apply for type approval and vehicle models that have obtained type approval.

The third one specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules etc. for light-signalling devices for motorcycles and mopeds.  It applies to front position lamps, rear position lamps, stop lamps, direction-indicator lamps, reversing lamps and rear-registration plate illuminating devices for motorcycles and mopeds.  From the date of implementation of this GB standard, front position lamps, rear position lamps, stop lamps, direction-indicator lamps, reversing lamps and rear-registration plate illuminating devices newly applied for type approval shall comply with this GB standard.

For front position lamps, rear position lamps, stop lamps, direction-indicator lamps, reversing lamps and rear-registration plate illuminating devices that have passed type inspections, it will be implemented from the 13th month after the implementation date of this GB standard.  For vehicle models that newly apply for type approval, it will be implemented from the 13th month after the implementation date of this GB standard.  For vehicle models that have obtained type approval, it will be implemented from the 13th month after the implementation date of this GB standard.
