Vietnam: New draft technical regulation for motorcycles

Vietnam has published a new draft technical regulation for motorcycles.  It is called: Draft National technical regulation on safety and environmental protection for motorcycles and mopeds (Proposed code: QCVN XX:2026/BXD).

It specifies technical requirements for the inspection, testing, and certification of technical safety quality and environmental protection in the production, assembly, and importation of new motorcycles and mopeds.

This draft National Technical Regulation applies to: domestic manufacturing and assembly establishments, organizations, and individuals importing vehicles; and organizations and individuals involved in the management, inspection, testing, and certification of technical safety quality and environmental protection for vehicles.
